Norman M. Ouellette died on January 7, 2022. Born on April 27, 1931in Somerset, MA to Mitchell Ouellette and Edwilda (Chevrette) Ouellette and raised in New Ipswich, NH. He was married to Sylvia (Maki) Ouellette with whom he just celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary.
Norm was a graduate of Appleton High School in New Ipswich, NH and served in the U.S. Navy from 1951-1955. He was a former employee of IBM until his retirement in 1987. After his retirement he held many positions at Green Meadow Golf Course in Hudson, NH.
Norm spent many years bowling at Merrimack 10 pin. He was also an avid skier and golfer. Norm was known to his family as the fixer of everything. There isn't anything he could not fix (sometimes with a little duct tape or superglue).
Besides his wife Sylvia, Norm leaves behind his 6 children; Cynthia Maynard-Karg (Al), Kathy Jones (Larry), Norma Marcoux (Arthur), Julie Poulin, Bruce Ouellette (Denise), Jill Naber (Pat). His 12 grandchildren; Alyssia Taylor (Andrew), Alethea Jones (Glen), Lakin Jones (Colleen), Tyler Poulin (Cara), Adam Marcoux (Sherry), Caitlin Lomando (Matt), Scott Marcoux (Jill), Jennifer Naber, Jessica Naber, Kyle Ouellette (Michayla), Joshua Naber, Jacob Naber. He also leaves behind 9 great grandchildren.
Norm was pre-deceased by his parents and his 3 sisters, Rita Kennedy, Irene Caouette and Lorraine Poirier.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 15 at 11:00AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 216 East Dunstable Road, Nashua, NH. Masks are required. Kindly meet at church. A celebration of life gathering will be held in the church hall immediately following the service. The Ouellette family respects everyone's personal beliefs but ask those who are attending the gathering be vaccinated against Covid-19 for the safety of everyone. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
