Rela A. Burns, 98 passed away peacefully on May 13, 2023 at Fairview Nursing Home in Hudson, NH. Rela was born on March 23, 1925 to the late Telesphore and Amanda Nadeau and lived her life full of happiness, singing and smiles.

For many years Rela was employed by the City of Nashua as an assessor. She was the widow of Raymond Burns with whom she shared 59 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2005.

Rela enjoyed traveling with her husband, going to the casino, making puzzles, playing cribbage, scrabble and taking many long walks.  She also loved working out at the gym up until she was in her early 90's and was so happy to see her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Rela is survived by her 4 children, David Burns his wife Joanne of Hudson, Donald Burns his wife Cheryl of Nashua Patricia Peters her husband Scott of Hudson and Pamela Burns her husband Ed Gannon of Hollis along with her sister-in-law Evangeline Nadeau of Goffstown, her 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brothers Joseph Pea and Jeannette Nadeau, Henry and Jeanine Nadeau, Ernest Nadeau, Albert Nadeau, Roger and Theresa Nadeau, her sisters, Juliette and Wilfred Gagne, Clare and Edmond Lambert, Anita and Laurent Lavoie, Regina and Roland Belanger, Rita and Eugene Frenette, two great granddaughters - Lillian Grace and Isabella Faith Burns.

Relatives and friends are invited to Rela's visitation on SUNDAY, May 21st from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her funeral mass will take place on MONDAY, May 22nd at 10 AM at St. John XXIII Parish, 25 Library St. Hudson, NH. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Her interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Hudson, NH.
