Robert J. LaPointe, 64, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, December 12, 2022. He is the beloved husband of Maria (de Fatima de Souza) LaPointe with whom he shared 20 years of marriage.

Robert was born in Nashua, NH on November 23, 1958 and was the son of the late Frank J. and Stella H. (Mironczyk) LaPointe. He received his education in the Nashua School System and was a graduate of Nashua High School.

For 10 years, he worked as a machine technician for MRPC. Previously he was employed by Brockway Plastics/Rexam for 30 years.

In his free time, Robert took pride in maintaining his home and property. He loved to attend to his vegetable garden and cut wood to keep his wood burning stove going at home. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his loving family.

In addition to his wife, Maria, he is survived by his two stepchildren, Jean Souza of Nashua and Josy Louise de Souza of Brazil; his two siblings, Ted LaPointe of Nashua and Lorrie Burnham and her husband Bob of Nashua. He is also survived by his niece, Melanie Myers and her husband Chad, great niece and nephew, Briana Myers and Gavin Myers of Goffstown, and his two nephews, Alex Burnham, his wife Angela, and great niece Sophia Burnham of Norfolk, MA, and Nick Burnham and his wife Lisa of Blackstone, MA.

Relatives and friends are invited to Robert's visitation on TUESDAY, December 20th from 10 AM until 12 Noon in ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home at 12 Noon and interment will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua.
