Roger T. Bissonnette, 84, died peacefully on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Concord Hospital in Laconia surrounded by his loving family. He is the beloved husband of Louise (Leclerc) Bissonnette with whom he shared 63 beautiful years of marriage.
Roger was born in Nashua on May 15, 1938, and was the son of the late Thomas and Ann Marie (Roy) Bissonnette. He received his education in the Nashua School System and was a graduate of Nashua High School.
For many years, he owned and operated Custom Manufacturing Services until his retirement in 1999.
Roger will be remembered for his artistic abilities especially with woodturning and woodworking. He also loved to fish, canoe, and camp. As long as he was outdoors, Roger was happy and always found something to enjoy. He and his wife, Louise, would happily winter in North Port, Florida and spend their summers in Gilford, NH. He was a member of the former Club Richelieu, which completed many community service projects in the Greater Nashua area and he was also a member of the choir at St. Louis de Gonzague Church, Nashua. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family, who he adored and cherished immensely.
In addition to his wife, Louise, he is survived by his three children, Teresa Bissonnette of Nashua, Anne (Bissonnette) Neary of Merrimack, NH, and Michael Bissonnette and his husband Tim Hildreth of Milford; his five grandchildren, Joseph Maryanski and his wife Jackie; John Maryanski and his wife Mandy, Caitlin Hartman and her husband Jeremy, Kellie Neary and her fiancé Zach Peters, and William Hildreth. He is also survived by his five great-grandchildren, Samuel, Benjamin, Isabel, Logan, and Luke.
Relatives and friends are invited to Roger's visitation on SATURDAY, May 21st from 10 AM until 12 Noon at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Service will take place in the Funeral Home at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in the Old St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
