Roland Paul-Emile Dagesse, 91, died peacefully at Fairview Nursing Home on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Therese Jacqueline (Poulin) Dagesse who predeceased him in April of 2014.
Roland was born in Courcelles, Canada on October 16, 1930, and was the son of the late Levis and Eva (Lessard) Dagesse.
For many years, Roland was employed as a furniture assembler for Ethan Allen Furniture Store and later worked as a carpenter for Mario Plante Construction Company until his retirement.
In his free time, Roland enjoyed card games and was a member of the Boston Carpenter Union. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Jocelyne Winiarski and her husband Michael of Dracut, three grandchildren, Jennifer Winiarski of Dracut, Christopher Winiarski of Dracut, and Eric Winiarski of Nashua; as well as his four siblings, Claudette Pouliot of Barre, VT, Lorraine Brousseau of Canada, Richard Dagesse of Florida, Clement Dagesse of VT as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his 7 siblings.
Relatives and friends are invited to Roland's visitation on SATURDAY, March 12th from 10 AM until 11:30 AM in ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home at 11:30 AM followed by his interment in Woodlawn Cemetery. Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roland's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or establish a Mass Intention at your local Church.
