Roy E. Lamb, age 92, passed away peacefully at his home on January 25, 2026. While his passing was calm, the loss is profound and deeply felt by all who knew and loved him.
He was born on October 18, 1933, in Somerville, Massachusetts, to the late Anthony and Amy (Slauenwhite) Lamb. Roy proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War as a combat medic. In the course of his service, he sustained injuries and was awarded the Purple Heart, an honor reflecting both his bravery and his selfless commitment to caring for others under the most difficult conditions.
Following his military service, Roy built a career as an accountant, owning and operating his own accounting practice for many years. He was widely known for his integrity, dedication, and unwavering reliability, earning the trust and respect of his clients and community alike.
Roy was predeceased by his beloved wife, Virginia (Holland) Lamb, his son, Stephan Lamb, and his brother, Anthony Lamb. He leaves behind his daughter-in-law, Kimberly Lamb; his grandchildren, Jonathan Lamb and his wife Samantha of Dracut, Massachusetts, and Timothy Roy Lamb of Lowell, Massachusetts; and his cherished great-grandchildren, Willow and Flynn Roy Lamb. He also leaves behind his precious pet and companion, Princess Kate.
Interment will take place privately at St. Louis de Gonzague Cemetery in the spring.
