Shirley
Ringer
Nov 15, 1949 — May 26, 2026
Shirley L. Ringer, 76, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 with her son by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Ringer with whom she shared 40 years of marriage prior to his passing on April 24, 2014.
Shirley was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on November 15, 1949 and was the daughter of the late Fred Courtemanche and Rita (Graham) Grohosky. She received her education in the Nashua School System and was a graduate of Nashua High School.
For 35 years, Shirley was employed at Roland's Restaurant in Nashua, where she worked as both a server and cook. She was known for her strong work ethic, dedication, and willingness to lend a helping hand to her co-workers whenever needed. Shirley took great pride in her work and formed many lasting friendships over the years through her kindness, dependability, and caring nature.
In her free time, Shirley enjoyed playing Bingo and creating diamond art. She also never passed up the chance to try her luck with a scratch ticket, always hoping the next one might be the big winner. Shirley cherished frequent lunch dates with her friends and spending time at Wallace's Grove in Hollis. Above all, her most treasured moments were those spent with her beloved family, whom she loved deeply and unconditionally.
Shirley is survived by her son, Gary Michaud of Nashua; her brother, David Courtemanche and his wife Sandy of Nashua; her brother-in-law, Dennis Catlow of Missouri; as well as her nieces and nephews.
Sadly, in addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Alan Courtemanche and her sister Elaine Catlow.
Relatives and friends are invited to Shirley's visitation on FRIDAY, June 5th from 5 until 8 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her prayer service will be held in the Funeral Home at 7 PM. Her interment will take place at the convenience of her family.
