Stephen M. Richer, 63, died peacefully on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Pleasant Valley Nursing Home in Derry surrounded by his loving family. He is the beloved husband of Ethel A. (Edwards) Richer with whom he shared 32 years together.

Stephen was born in Montreal, Canada on September 22, 1959 and was the son of the late Roland and Theresa (Levesque) Richer.

For many years, he was employed as a computer programmer until his retirement.

In his free time, Stephen loved anything to do with music. He was an avid Grateful Dead fan, knowing all of their songs and enjoyed playing their songs and others on his guitar. He also liked to travel, especially to his favorite destination, Las Vegas, Nevada. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family.

In addition to his wife, Ethel, he is survived by his two siblings, Mike Richer and his wife Liz of Nashua and Luane Mondoux of Merrimack;  his six stepchildren, Penny Brianas of Litchfield, Christina Sevard and her husband David of Hooksett, Maria Brianas of Nashua, Demetrious Brianas and his wife Wendy of Georgia, Constantine Brianas and his wife Amy of North Carolina, and Billy Brianas and his wife Sharon of Wilmington, MA; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Stephen's visitation on MONDAY, December 5th from 5 until 8 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. A brief service will be held at the conclusion of his visitation at 7:45 PM. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stephen's name to the Nashua Humane Society, 24 Ferry Road, Nashua.
