Teresa "Teri" Dionne, 94, died peacefully at her Nashua home on Thursday, August 11, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond "Pete" Dionne who predeceased her in March of 2008 after they shared nearly 54 years of marriage.
Teri was born in Nashua on July 16, 1928, and was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Ermentine (Sirois) Lavoie. She received her education in the Nashua School System and was a graduate of Nashua High School, with the class of 1946.
She was employed at Sprague Electric for many years until her retirement.
In her free time, Teri loved to attend Bingo at Eagles Wing in Nashua, cheering for the Red Sox, and was an ardent watcher of Jeopardy. She also bowled for many years at Leda Lanes, enjoyed doing puzzles, had a deep love for cats, and cherished her time spent with family. Teri was fiercely loyal, independent, and was respected by all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed.
Teri is survived by her son, David Dionne and his wife Diane (Chandonnet) of Nashua; her three granddaughters, Melissa Dumont, Caitlin Dionne, and Colleen Dionne. She is also survived by her three great-granddaughters, Abigail, Alexus, and Avalyse as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Pete, she was predeceased by her daughter, Michelle Dumont, her granddaughter, Megan Dumont, and her five siblings, Richard, Lucille, Leo, Pearl and Gabrielle.
Relatives and friends are invited to Teri's visitation on SATURDAY, September 10th from 12 noon until 3 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Interment will take place in St. Louis Cemetery at her family's convenience. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Teri's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or by visiting www.stjude.org/donate.
