Truong V. Nguyen, 91, died peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2026 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. He was the beloved husband of the late Bon Nguyen with whom he shared 40 years of marriage prior to her passing.

Truong was born in Hai Phong, Vietnam and was the son of the late Co Van and Tiec Thi Nguyen.

Prior to immigrating to the United States he owned and operated a restaurant in Vietnam.

In his free time, Truong found great joy in tending to his vegetable garden and sharing his love of cooking with family and friends. He was an amazing cook and was especially known for his famous pho, a dish that will undoubtedly bring back many fond memories for those fortunate enough to have enjoyed it. Above all, Truong was a loving and devoted father and grandfather who treasured the time spent with his family. His love, warmth, and the many wonderful memories he created will be cherished by his family and all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his children, his grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to Truong’s visitation on FRIDAY, August 14th from 5 until 8 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Mass will be held on SATURDAY, August 15th at 11 AM in St. Christopher Church, 48 Manchester Street, Nashua. Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
