Adelard “Pete” Levesque, 89, of Nashua and Milford, NH, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Rolande (Belanger) Levesque of Nashua.
Pete was born in Nashua on November 11, 1933, the son of the late Albert and Marie Rose (Belanger) Levesque.
Pete had worked at several local firms over the years including J.F. McElwain and Brox Paving, before retiring from Nashua Corporation.
Pete and Rolande were known for walking all over Nashua, stopping in to visit their favorite stores, and enjoying the outdoors. In his later years, Pete enjoyed driving out to Hampton Beach to enjoy some fried clams. Pete was a well-known diner at Roland’s on Kinsley Street, as well as at the Temple Street diner. Pete and Rolande were also parishioners of St. Louis de Gonzague Church for many years.
He is survived by his two sisters; Cecile Boisvert and her husband Leo of Dracut MA; and Lorraine Levesque of Merrimack; his sister-in-law Margaret Gleneck of Nashua; brothers-in-law Joseph G. Belanger and his wife Bessie of Merrimack and Normand E. Belanger and his wife Gail of Milford as well as several nieces and nephews.
Pete was predeceased by his brothers; Joseph Levesque and his wife Lorraine; Maurice Levesque and his wife Althea; his sister Therese Lovejoy and her husband Roger, and his sister-in-law Jeanne Simpson.
Relatives and friends are invited to Pete’s visitation on MONDAY, May 1st from 5 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Mass will be held on TUESDAY, May 2nd at 10 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
