Alex Emery Obituary

Alex William Emery, 43, died March 23, 2020 at his home in Nashua, NH of natural causes due to obesity, high blood pressure, and sleep apnea. Alex was born August 3, 1976 in Lowell, MA, the son of Clenna (Lyons) and Larry Emery, Hudson, NH.

Alex is survived by a son, Zachary Emery; sister Tia (Scott) Barton; brother Eric (Becky) Emery; niece Tiana Barton; nephews: Joshua and Jason Barton; Evan and Michael Emery. His daughter, Rachel Rose, and both sets of grandparents predeceased Alex.

Alex attended Hudson schools and graduated Westford Academy, Westford, MA 1995 where he played football and ice hockey. He was employed at Dunkin’ Donuts.

Alex enjoyed being outdoors, snowboarding, the beach, animals, his friends, and family. He loved the Boston Bruins. Friends Angela and Peter, and his cat Izzy will especially miss Alex.

Alex was a kind, gentle, lost soul. He had battled mental illness and struggled with drug addiction for several years. He went to rehab and was very proud that he’d been clean for the past two years. No more demons Alex, rest in peace.
