Alice B. Moreau

Alice B. Moreau, 99, lifelong resident of Nashua, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Premier Health Care in Nashua. She was the beloved wife of the late Lucien R. Moreau.

Alice was born in Nashua, NH on September 17, 1922 and was the daughter of the late Arsene and Mathilda (Pelletier) Anctil.

For many years, she worked at JF McElwain Shoe Company as a box maker until her retirement.

In her free time, Alice was an avid reader, loved knitting afgans and enjoyed her weekly trips to Roland’s Restaurant. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Susan Lapointe of Nashua, her grandson Eric Lapointe of Nashua, and her sister Alvina Anctil of Nashua. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Lucien, she was predeceased by her son, Adrien L. Moreau; her sisters, Rita and Annette, her brother Paul, her son-in-law, Jean-Yves Lapointe, and brother-in-law Albert Anctil.

Alice’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Premier Health Care for their compassion and care provided to Alice during her stay there.

Relatives and friends are invited to Alice’s Funeral Mass on SATURDAY, April 9th at 10 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E. Dunstable Road, Nashua. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Interment to follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Nashua. Arrangements entrusted to the care of ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.
