NASHUA- Aline M. (Tremblay) Tardif, 90, died peacefully Monday evening, February 25, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Aline was the beloved wife of the late Lorenzo Tardif who predeceased her in 1980.

Aline was born in St. Hermenegilde, Quebec, Canada on March 13, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Desilda (Grenier) Tremblay.

For many years, she was employed as a seamstress for Tory Stitching as well as Jalb Stitching in Lowell, MA until her retirement.

In her free time, Aline loved to work on puzzles and search words as well as watching her favorite TV shows. She was talented with knitting and was always making sure her family had plenty of handmade socks, mittens and slippers. She also enjoyed quilting and in her younger years, dancing. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family who she loves dearly.

Aline is survived by her four children, Marie Berry and her significant other Paul Tessler of Nashua, Jacques Tardif and his wife Marthe of Florida, Antonio “Tony” Tardif of Nashua, and Mario Tardif and his wife Patricia of Nashua; her eight grandchildren, Daniel Berry and his wife Janet, Linda Tardif, Tracy McCarthy and her husband George, Carol Gynan and her husband Eric, Jason Tardif and his wife Melissa, Joey Tardif and his wife Michelle, Shaun Tardif and his wife Erika, and Robert Tardif. She is also survived by her 14 great-grandchildren; her brother, Raymond Tremblay of Berlin, NH and her sister Imelda Gosselin of Canaan, VT.

She was predeceased by her two sons, Adrian Tardif and Marcel Tardif and 8 siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to Aline’s visitation on FRIDAY, March 1st from 4 until 8 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on SATURDAY, March 2nd at 10 AM in St. John XXII Parish/Infant Jesus Church, 21 Allds Street, Nashua. Interment to follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
