Amy Palinkas-Manzi Obituary

Amy Beth (McKenna)Palinkas-Manzi, 52, died unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. She is the beloved wife of James Palinkas.

Amy was born in Mount Vernon, Ohio on June 13, 1970 and was the daughter of the late Doug McKenna Sr. and Sharon (Johnson) Mattson.

Amy was a fabulous cook and had a beautiful soul. She was a very good listener and always allotted space and love to whomever needed it. She was selfless to a fault but never wavered from helping people. Her incredible sense of humor and quick wit will be missed deeply. She was a fun person to be around, and people gravitated towards her often. The whole Mckenna clan and her family could find her in a crowded room from her infectious laugh. She was very creative and loved to paint and deeply adored her two dogs, Macy and Marley. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with family, friends, laughing, and having her world famous margarita.

In addition to her husband James, she is survived by her two children, Andrew Manzi Jr. and Arieana Manzi; her two siblings, Doug McKenna and Alysia McKenna; as well as her three stepchildren, James Palinkas, Jannell Palinkas, and Tara Palinkas. She is also survived by her two step-grandchildren, Trayce and Koda and her nieces and nephews, Lynsie and Colin O’Leary, Justin McKenna, and Brittany Quinn.

In addition to her parents, Doug and Sharon, she was predeceased by her daughter, Alysia McKenna and her niece Sofia McKenna.

At the request of Amy’s family, her celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Amy’s name to Recovery NH, Hope for Recovery, 293 Wilson Street, Suite #101, Manchester, NH 03104
