Andre Robert Pelletier

NASHUA- Andre Robert Pelletier, 68, a lifelong resident of Nashua, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua. He is the beloved husband of Cindy Lee (Parker) Pelletier with whom he shared 42 years of marriage.

Andre was born in Nashua on November 30, 1952, and was the son of the late Romeo and Solange (Bibeau) Pelletier. He received his education in the Nashua School System and was a graduate of Nashua High School, class of 1971.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War until he was honorably discharged in September of 1974. He received a Bronze Star for his Heroism and Bravery.

Andre was also extremely proud and had a deep love for the City of Nashua. He truly adored his job as an equipment operator for the Department of Public Works where he worked for over 43 years.

In his free time, he enjoyed reading the Nashua Telegraph, scrapping metal, being a member of the Nashua VFW, and finding hidden treasures, whether antiquing or discovering those hidden gems on the side of the road. Andre will forever be remembered for wearing his hats, his white beard and for his love of Mountain Dew. Above all, he cared most for his family. The absolute light of his life were his grandchildren. Andre would do anything for them and cherished every moment with them; he even replaced his beautiful vegetable garden so he could place a swing set and other children’s toys in the yard for them.

In addition to his wife, Cindy, he is survived by this three children, Jodie Pelletier-Gracey and her husband Scott of Grand Haven, Michigan, Toni Bobenrieth and her husband Dean of Milford, and Jeffery Pelletier and his wife Kelly of Nashua; his five grandchildren, Austin, Trevor, and Brianna Pelletier, Sedona Bobenrieth, and Cory Pelletier. He is also survived by his siblings, Daniel Pelletier and his wife Barbara of Nashua and Lisa Bergeron and her husband Paul of Nashua; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to Andre’s WALK THROUGH visitation on TUESDAY, January 19th from 1:30 PM until 4:30 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Mass will take place on WEDNESDAY, January 20th at 10 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E. Dunstable Road, Nashua, NH. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Interment and military honors will be presented at a later date at the New Hampshire State Veteran Cemetery, Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Andre’s name to the Nashua Humane Society, 24 Ferry Road, Nashua, NH 03064.
