Andrew L. Pratte, 27 of Nashua lost his battle with addiction on November 8th, 2022. Andrew was born January 15, 1995 in Nashua, NH.
It is impossible to capture a person in an obituary, and especially someone whose entire life was largely defined by drug addiction. Drugs offered Andrew an escape from the demons he faced throughout his life. He had been entangled in this battle from adolescence to the day he took his last breath, but we can’t allow this to define him. Andrew was so much more than his addiction. He had a huge heart with a great capacity to love. We will always remember Andrew’s contagious laughter, his ability to light up a room and his willingness to help anyone he could. Every day was a struggle for Andrew but he wanted to live. Andrew was great man who just had so many hurts.
Andrew was predeceased by both his parents, Marcel and Jessica (St. Onge) Pratte, and by his favorite person, his grandmother Sue, “Ma” (Farland) Baker.
Andrew is survived by his sister Megan Burnap and her husband Andy, his aunt Sarah St.John and her husband Chris, his aunt Molly Lawrie and her husband Jon, and his grandparents Robert and Erin Baker and William and Kay St.Onge, as well as several cousins and a niece and nephew.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES.
