Annette Angel Emond, 96, of Nashua, passed away peacefully on Monday November 4, 2024, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack. She was born on October 2, 1928, in Nashua to the late Albert and Yvonne (Lemay) Marquis. Annette was the beloved wife of Omer A. Emond prior to his passing in September of 2005.

In her free time, Annette enjoyed staying busy, as you could usually find her crocheting, sewing, or cross stitching. She enjoyed making quilts, afghans, as well as baby blankets and sweaters which she would donate to those in need. In her earlier years, she also played the organ. Above everything, Annette loved to spend time with her family and friends the most. 

Annette is survived by her two children; Roger Emond and his wife Lucie of Nashua, and Diane Emerson of Ashland, MA; her grandchildren Steven Emond and his wife Heidi, and Benjamin Emond, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her husband Omer, Annette is predeceased by her sister Rita Paradise Gendron and her brother Armand Marquis.

Family and friends are invited to Annette’s visitation on WEDNESDAY, November 13th from 5 until 8 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her funeral mass will take place on THURSDAY, November 14th at 11 AM at Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad Street, Nashua. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Nashua. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations in Annette’s name to the Community Hospice House, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054.
