Arthur Bonenfant

Arthur Bonenfant, 75, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, November 13, 2021, after a hard-fought battle with cancer with his wife and children by his side. He is the beloved husband of Janice (Anctil) Bonenfant with whom he shared 53 years of marriage.

Arthur was born in Nashua on July 10, 1946, and was the son of the late Jeannette (Paul) Bonenfant. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force National Guard until he was honorably discharged.

For many years he worked as a warehouse manager for Heat Incorporated.

In his free time, Arthur was an avid woodworker. He would spend countless hours in his workshop at home, constructing all types of projects including many pieces of furniture found in his home as well as his children’s homes. Pieces of work that will be cherished forever. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family, especially time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Janice, he is survived by his two children, Jeffrey Bonenfant and his wife Heidi of Grantham, NH and Heidi Staley and her husband Christopher of Salisbury, NH; his five grandchildren, Alexa and Jacob Bonenfant, Zachary Staley and his girlfriend Taylor Montgomery, and Nicholas and Carter Staley. He is also survived by his brother Paul Bonenfant of Goffstown, NH; his sister-in-law, Donna Rowen and her husband Kim of Merrimack as well as other in-laws and several nieces and nephews.

Arthur was predeceased by his three brothers, Albert, Roger, and Ronald Bonenfant; his sister Joan Mayo, and his niece Janet Mayo.

Relatives and friends are invited to Arthur’s Funeral Service on SATURDAY, November 20th at 11:30 AM in ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Interment will take place at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Arthur’s name to Home, Health, and Hospice, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054.
