Blademil Taveras Obituary

Blademil Taveras, 42, of Manchester, passed away unexpectedly on June 3rd, 2025. He was the dedicated, loving husband of Elizabeth (Whiting) Taveras, with whom he shared 7 years of marriage.

Born in New York City on November 18, 1982, Blademil was the beloved son of Jesus N. and Gregoria Taveras.  He was employed as System Operations Support Manager at Eversource Energy - CONVEX. Blademil held a Master’s degree in Power Engineering from WPI, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston. He attended schools in the Nashua school system and was a graduate of Nashua High School with the class of 2001.

Always the life of the party and driven by an adventurous, competitive soul, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as watching the NFL, working on home projects, attending live sporting events, playing video games, and thrill seeking with family and friends.   He saw the true value in teamwork and was a trusted mentor to many colleagues throughout his career.  He had a passion for any kind of new technology, dancing, singing (even if the words were made up), and eating his favorite homecooked meals by mom!  He was an inspiration and symbol of hope and strength for all whose lives he touched.  He gave without expecting anything in return, whether it was time, help, or just a kind word driven purely by a generous heart.  But, above all else, he loved making others laugh and smile!!  Which shone the most through his two extremely happy children.  Blad was an amazing husband and incredible father, words cannot describe the amount of love, guidance, and nurturing care he bestowed on his beautiful children and wife.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, and their cherished children, Eric and Sofie, as well as his parents; his sister, Evelyn Taveras, and her fiancé, Balazs Felcsuti of Arlington, MA; his brother, Edwin Taveras of Gainesville, FL; and his godmother, Dora Taveras of Nashua, NH.

Blademil will also be deeply missed by his father-in-law, Douglas Whiting; sisters-in-law, Katy Schlueter and her husband John of Naperville, IL, and Mary Oamek and her husband Jeff of Fort Collins, CO, as well as by his adored nieces Claire, Eliza, Berkley, and Riley. He also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and colleagues whose lives were enriched by his presence.

Relatives and friends are invited to Blademil’s visitation on FRIDAY, June 13th from 4-7 p.m. at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. A second visitation will be held on SATURDAY, June 14th from 10-11:30 a.m., also at Rochette Funeral Home. His funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m.
