Braeden O’Connor
April 27, 2005 - Nov 4, 2021
Hollis, New Hampshire
Braeden O’Connor died unexpectedly on Thursday, November 4th, 2021 at the far too young age of 16. Braeden will live on through the hearts of his loving parents, Peter and Michelle O’Connor, his adoring sister JennaO’Connor, grandparents Carol O’Connor and the late Michael O’Connor, Dick McGee and the late Elizabeth McGee and the late Patricia Niedzielski, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Braeden was a Junior at Hollis-Brookline High School and had tremendous joy participating on the varsity golf, alpine skiing and volleyball teams. He also particularly enjoyed skiing with the GMVS club at Sugarbush, water sports and RC vehicles. Braeden was always up for a new adventure, he re-defined “team player” and just seemed to find that way of supporting and helping everyone around him have more fun.
When Braeden was near you knew it as you couldn’t escape his infectious energy and activity. He was smart, exceptionally curious and frequently amazed others with his thoughtfulness in figuring out just the right goofy comment to insert at just the right time to make anyone feel good. While at times Braeden could be hard on himself, he was never anything other than caring, compassionate and loving to others, particularly with the younger children in his life. Everyone that knew Braeden will miss him dearly, but their memories of him will unquestionably have a positive impact on the rest of their lives.
In lieu of flowers, we would suggest a donation to The Jed Foundation (JED) www.jedfoundation.org – a nonprofit that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for our nation’s teens and young adults, giving them the skills and support they need to thrive today…and tomorrow.
A public viewing will be held on WEDNESDAY, November 10th from 4PM until 7PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua, New Hampshire. A private service will be held on THURSDAY, November 11th.
