Candice Clark Obituary

Candice Clark, 72, of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully at home on July 11, 2025, with her husband by her side.

Candice is survived by her husband of nearly 49 years, Edward; her children, Cassandra (Clark) Kenney, E. Benjamin, and Nathaniel; her son-in-law, Phillip; her daughter-in-law, Stephanie; and her grandchildren, Emma, Adaline, and Edward "Ted." She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Stuart and Kara Ramsdell, Craig and Peg Ramsdell, and Ross and Christine Ramsdell. She was predeceased by her parents Chadwick and Nancy Ramsdell, and her brother Chadwick.

Born on January 29, 1953, in Millington, TN, Candice earned a B.A. from the University of Vermont, before moving to Chicago with her husband and finally settling in Nashua, NH, where they raised their family. She worked for both the City of Nashua and the Nashua Public Library.

Candice was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In her free time she enjoyed curling and golfing with her many friends, spending time in her "happy place” reading, embarking on "treasure" hunts with her grandchildren, or completing the New York Times Crossword Puzzle, in cursive. She was a talented seamstress, always working on projects, often for her grandchildren. Candice will be remembered for her kindness, wit, and unwavering love and caring for her family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on August 23rd at 11:00 AM at the Nashua Country Club; all are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association.
