Carmel F. Jacques, 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 17th, 2018, at the Bel Air Nursing and Rehab Center in Goffstown, NH.
Born in Nashua, NH on December 2, 1936 to the late Peter and Anna (Levesque) Arpin, she was raised and educated in Hudson, NH. Carmel enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and reading mystery novels, where she would often read four to five books in a week. She also loved shopping, attending plays and dining out with friends and family. Later in life, she especially loved watching the Patriots and Red Sox games with her husband, Paul.
Carmel was predeceased by her husband Paul E. Jacques; an infant son, Craig Peter and a brother, Ernest Arpin.
Surviving members of her family include a daughter, Cheryl Picard and her husband Anthony; a granddaughter, Sarah E. Picard of Milford, NH; a grandson, Alec J. Picard of Nashua, NH, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, February 23rd from 9 until 11 AM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua NH. Her Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home at 11 AM. Burial will take place in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carmel’s memory to the Home Health & Hospice Care, 7 Executive Park Dr., Merrimack, NH 03054.
