Carol J. (Gibbs) Blais, 85, died peacefully Monday, June 13, 2022, at Courville Nursing Home in Nashua surrounded by her loving family.
Carol was born in North Bangor, New York, on June 4, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Perry and Florence Dora (Kent) Gibbs. She received her education in the Nashua School system and was a graduate of Nashua High School.
For many years, she was employed as an executive secretary at Sanders as well as JF McElwain until her retirement.
In her free time, she enjoyed volunteered at schools especially with the “Grandparents Program.” She also loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Carol is survived by her two daughters, Joy Kilian and her husband Scott of Amarillo, Texas and Deborah Blais of Nashua; her son Michael Blais and his wife Tish Dudley of Manchester, six grandchildren, Sean Kilian and his wife Colleen, Andrea Lucero, Jessica Blais, Jennifer Blais, Miranda Ortiz and her husband Kristofer, and Felicia Blais Lones. She is also survived by her four great-grandchildren, William Kilian, Arianna Lucero, Avery Gagnon, Camber Lucero, Cameron Madera, and Lucas Madera as well as several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a special brother and sister-in-law Leo and Susie Blais.
She was predeceased by her son Richard Blais as well as her siblings, Gladys Lambert, Barbara Blackwell, Jackie Gibbs, Doris Coderre, Peter Gibbs, Annie Labonville, and William Gibbs.
Relatives and friends are invited to Carol’s visitation on WEDNESDAY, June 22nd from 4 PM until 8 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua, NH. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 23rd at 11 AM in Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad Street, Nashua. Interment will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Nashua.
