Carol Weinstein

NASHUA- Carol Lucille Weinstein, 63, passed onto life’s next journey peacefully on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center after a courageous battle of six years against dementia. She was surrounded by her supportive and loving family. Carol is the beloved wife, and will be truly missed by her husband of 34 years, Donald Weinstein.

Carol was born in Nashua on August 17, 1954 and was the daughter of the late Gerard and Lucille (Liliberte) Rioux.

In her early years, Carol was employed in the hospitality, medical and real estate fields. However, her true passion was raising her children and spending time with her family.

In her free time, Carol enjoyed floral gardening and had a true talent for interior decorating. She also loved to be active, Carol enjoyed running, aerobics and loved to dance. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her loving friends and family. Carol was a fun loving, sincerely caring, beautiful person, who had a heart of gold with a strong spirit. She will be missed dearly.

In addition to her husband, Donald, Carol is survived by her three children, William Henderson, Justin Henderson and Holly Weinstein; her three grandchildren, Lilliyanna, Dillon, and Madison. She is also survived by her three siblings, Raymond Rioux, Thomas Rioux and Nancy Riel. Her cousin and caretaker, Sheila Grandmaison and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on WEDNESDAY, August 1st from 5 until 8 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. A memorial service will be held on THURSDAY, August 2nd at 10:30 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E. Dunstable Road, Nashua. Interment will take place at the convenience of Carol’s family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 or to Alz.org.
