Cecile Theresa “Terry” Doucette, age 96, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026, at Nashua Post Acute Center. Born on December 24, 1929, in Lynn, Massachusetts, she was the beloved daughter of the late Edward and Adeline (Poirer) LeBlanc. Cecile was the devoted wife of the late Ronald “Ron” Doucette, with whom she shared 71 years of marriage before his passing in 2024.

Cecile dedicated many years of her professional life working as a data entry clerk at Raytheon, where she was known for her diligence and reliability until her retirement.

Cecile found joy in life’s simple pleasures and especially loved traveling to a variety of destinations. She had a natural talent for knitting, creating pieces that were both fun and beautiful. An avid card player, she was always eager to join a game whenever the opportunity arose. Above all, Cecile’s greatest joy was her family; she was a devoted caretaker and proud matriarch. She truly cherished the time she spent with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her endless happiness.

Cecile is survived by her four daughters Pat Marsh of Merrimack, Paula Briggs and her husband Jeff of Francestown, Diane Lennon and her husband David of Hampton, and Julie Thompson and her husband Bill of Plainville, MA; her son-in-law, Mark Riesback of Tolland, CT; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; as well as her best friend of 55 plus years Jeanne Veno of Tewksbury, MA, in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Christine Riesbeck; her sister Marie Wallace; and her four brothers Omer LeBlanc, Leo LeBlanc, Joseph LeBlanc, and Raymond LeBlanc.

Family and friends are invited to Cecile’s funeral mass on SATURDAY, May 30th at 10 AM at St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 47 W. Hollis Street, Nashua. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Her interment will take place at a later date at the New Hampshire State Veteran Cemetery in Boscawen.
