Charles Coolidge Jr. Obituary

Charles Elliott Coolidge Jr., 30, passed away unexpectedly on August 6, 2025. Born on July 6, 1995, in Melrose, MA, he was the beloved son of Charles E. Coolidge Sr. of Wakefield, MA, and Audrey (Yoakum) Lavoie of Nashua, NH.

Charles, known to many as Chuck, was a kind-hearted and passionate soul who found joy in the simple things in life. He worked as a gas attendant at Glidden Auto, where he was known for his strong work ethic and love of cars. Whether under the hood of an engine or sharing stories about his latest project, Chuck’s enthusiasm for all things automotive was infectious.

A true enthusiast, Chuck enjoyed shooting firearms with his brother-in-law, demolition work and scrapping. He was a dedicated wrestling fan and had a deep love for music—especially the songs of Jelly Roll. Chuck also enjoyed spending time watching TV shows and YouTube videos, often sharing his favorite clips with friends and family. However, one of his greatest joys was being with his nieces and nephew, with whom he shared many laughs, games, and cherished memories.

Chuck is survived by his father, Charles Sr., and his partner Cheryl; his mother, Audrey, and her husband Darrell; his sisters, Lily Delaney and her husband James, and Linda Malloy and her husband Curtis, all of Nashua; his two beloved nieces and nephew, Conor, Orayne, and Imogen; his paternal grandfather, Frank Coolidge of Wakefield, MA; his uncle, Frank Yoakum and his wife Julieanne of Burlington, MA; his aunt, Linda Swears and her husband Michael of Beverly, MA; as well as many loving cousins, extended family members, and friends.

He was predeceased by his brother, Bryan Coolidge, his paternal grandmother, Lillian Coolidge; and his uncles, Frank Coolidge and Stephen Coolidge.

Chuck will be remembered for his big heart, his loyalty, and his unique sense of humor. He brought light to the lives of those who knew him and will be deeply missed by all.

At the family's request, services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Charlie’s memory to the Nashua Soup Kitchen, 2 Quincy Street, Nashua, NH, or by visiting their website at NSKS.ORG.
