Charles Lewis, Jr. Obituary

Charles “Chuck” Daniel Lewis, Jr., 76, died peacefully at Premier Rehab and Nursing Home in Nashua on Monday, May 13, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Denise (Gordon) Lewis with whom he shared 27 years of marriage.

Chuck was born in Boston, Massachusetts on August 2, 1947 and was the son of the late Charles D. Sr. and Eleanor (Jones) Lewis. He attended schools in the Boston Public School System and was a graduate of Boston Trade High School class of 1966.

For over 55 years, Chuck was employed as a pipefitter/plumber and proudly retired from Local 537 and later worked for the MBTA where he held the position of Foreman.

Chuck loved going to the drag races, smoking a good cigar, and occasionally hitting a casino. However, his most cherished time was spent with his family who he loved deeply.

He is survived by his three children, Kimberly Lewis, Denina Coakley and her husband Jensen and Dennis Walker; his grandchildren, Destaknee Johnson, Tavian Beane, Jaden Francis, Mahogaknee Moore, Sarai Trimmings, Zarielle Trimmings, and Jazmine Coakley; as well as his great-granddaughter, Kyara Jones.
