Charles “Chuck” Sturdevant II, 81, of Lyndeborough, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Hanover Hills Health Center in Manchester. He was born on February 6, 1943, in Boston, MA to the late Charles and Helen (Anderson) Sturdevant.
Growing up, Charles received his education in the Lexington, MA School District, graduating with Lexington High School class of 1961. For many years, Chuck was a printed circuit board designer. He also spent 13 years in the Army Reserves. He is the beloved husband of Carol (Anderson) Sturdevant, with whom he spent 58 wonderful years of marriage with.
In his free time, Chuck enjoyed traveling and going on various cross country camping trips. He also enjoyed stopping and visiting as many lighthouses as he possibly could, especially his favorite the Portland Headlight. Charles enjoyed watching his favorite TV programs, and loved all their family pets, especially his dogs. Above everything, Chuck adored the time spent with family and friends the most.
In addition to his wife Carol, Charles is survived by his two children, Donna Edgar and her husband William of Goffstown, and Deborah Medic and her husband Eldin of Lyndeborough; his five grandchildren Alexander Edgar, Alek Medic and his fiancé Kelly Shehee, Stephanie Edgar, Kenan Medic, and Zarina Medic; his great grandson Kade Medic; his sister Lynn Mackenzie of Statesville, NC, his in-laws, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Charles was predeceased by his brother Clyde Sturdevant.
At Charles’ request, there will be no formal services at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chuck’s name to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are entrusted to ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES.
