On Wednesday July 17, 2024, Cheryl Bilecz passed away peacefully at the age of 75. She was the beloved wife of József Bilecz, whom she shared 38 years of marriage with until his passing on May 1, 2017.
Cheryl was born on January 4, 1949, in Fort Worth, Texas and was the daughter of the late William F. and Dorothy (Meyer) Swank.
Cheryl attended the Fort Worth Texas school system, where she graduated from R.L. Paschal Senior High School in 1967. Cheryl met her husband József and lived in Galveston TX until 1987 when she moved to New Hampshire where she would reside for most of her life.
Her most recent employment was as a key punch operator at CoorsTek retiring in June 2021.
In her free time, Cheryl highly enjoyed outdoor activities, including gardening with her green thumb and leisurely walks. She also had a passion for embroidery works and loved reading.
Cheryl is survived by her two daughters, Erzsebet Shelsky and her husband David Shelsky of Nashua, NH, and Marika Bilecz-Giancola and her husband Domenic Giancola of Belchertown, MA; as well as her four grandchildren, József Macneil, Mason Shelsky, Derek Shelsky and Lucas József Giancola.
Cheryl was predeceased by her husband, József Bilecz; her brother, James W. Steward; her sister, Beverly A. Hatley; her aunt, Virginia Eiteman; her great-uncle and his wife, Edmand Wilson and Neli; and her maternal grandmother, Dessie E. Meyer.

At the request of Cheryl, all services were omitted. All arrangements were entrusted to Rochette Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
