Christine Squires Walker Obituary

Christine Marie Squires Walker, 54, died suddenly at her home on Sunday, March 29, 2026. She is the beloved wife of Donald Walker with whom she shared 24 years of marriage.

Christine was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on May 18, 1971 and is the daughter of Mary (Cunniff) Squires and the late John Squires. She attended high school at Mount St. Mary and continued her education at Plymouth State College, graduating with her bachelor’s degree. She also attended and graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with her MBA.

Christine dedicated more than 25 years of her professional life to Fidelity Investments, where she served with distinction as a Vice President Financial Consultant. Throughout her career, she was known for her integrity, expertise, and unwavering commitment to her clients and colleagues. Christine took great pride in helping others achieve financial security, earning the respect and trust of those she worked with. Her leadership, professionalism, and genuine care for people left a lasting impact on the organization and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Christine found great joy in life’s simple pleasures and meaningful passions. She had a deep appreciation for fine art, particularly 16th century Dutch works, and loved to travel, exploring places from the charm of Paris to the beauty of Ireland, as well as making frequent trips to Florida to spend time with her family. An avid reader, Christine could often be found immersed in crime novels, always eager for the next story. She delighted in small treats, especially an occasional crisp Coca-Cola, and took great pride in decorating her home for every holiday. Christine loved hosting and entertaining, creating warm, welcoming gatherings where no one ever left hungry. Above all, she cherished time with her family, whom she loved deeply, and her beloved fur baby, Reggie, who brought her endless comfort and companionship. She will be missed and forever loved by all who had the opportunity to know her. She was truly wonderful.

In addition to her husband, Don of Nashua and her mother, Mary of Nashua; she is survived by her three children, Katie Walker, Rory Walker and Aidan Walker all of Nashua; her brother, Jack Squires and his wife Ginger of Rockledge, Florida as well as many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Christine’s visitation on THURSDAY, April 2nd from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her interment will take place at the convenience of her family. Christine had a deep love for flowers, especially blue hydrangeas and tulips, and her family kindly invites those wishing to honor her memory to do so with arrangements reflecting her favorite blooms.
