Claire Liane Leveille

Claire L. Leveille, 87 of Nashua, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday November 7, 2023. She was born on September 16, 1936, in Nashua to the late Phydime and Melina (Lavoie) Beaupre.

Claire was a graduate of Mount St. Mary’s high school class of 1955, before continuing her education and receiving her bachelor’s degree from Rivier College now Rivier University. During her career as an elementary school teacher, she taught at Nashua Public Schools and Infant Jesus School retiring in 2000.  She was the widow of Raymond Leveille with whom she shared 36 years of marriage prior to his passing in April 2004.

In her free time Claire was a big sports fan, especially cheering for the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and whichever college sports teams that her children attended. Claire also enjoyed traveling with her husband to various destinations and she always enjoyed going to restaurants. She was also an avid card player on her iPad, playing bridge and solitaire. Claire also loved to read, as well as tend to her garden at her home. Above all else, Claire cherished time spent with her family and especially her grandkids the most.

Claire is survived by her three children Cheryl Williams and her husband Kevin of Haverhill, MA, Sue LaBrecque of Weare, NH, and Steve Leveille and his wife Michele of Weymouth, MA, her eight grandchildren Andrew Williams, Brian Williams, Justin Williams, Nick LaBrecque, Jay LaBrecque, Ben LaBrecque, Sydney Leveille, and Owen Leveille, her sister-in-law Nancy Desmarais of Nashua, as well as two nieces Laurie and Diane.

In addition to her husband Raymond, she was predeceased by her granddaughter Alexa Leveille and her brother-in-law Jerry Desmarais.

Family and friends are invited to Claire’s visitation on TUESDAY November 14th from 9:30 until 10:30 AM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her funeral mass will follow at 11 AM at Infant Jesus Church, 121 Allds Street, Nashua. Interment will take place following at St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
