Clarence Girouard Obituary

Clarence Joseph Girouard, 79, died peacefully on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at the Community Hospice House surrounded by his family. He is the husband of Mary Girouard.

Clarence was born in Leominster, Massachusetts on October 24, 1941, and was the son of the late Rosalinde Marie (Lecuyer) and Clarence Robert Girouard.

He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as an Air Policeman until he was honorably discharged on May 28, 1964. Following his discharge from the Air Force he also served in the Air National Guard of New Hampshire as a Security Policeman until he was honorably discharged on January 8th 1964.

In his free time, he enjoyed singing and karaoke. His passion was being Santa Claus in person and online for handicapped children that could not leave their house or hospital. He was known to have a smile for everyone and had a joke in every story.

In addition to his wife, Mary, Clarence is survived by his two sons, Dean Girouard of Manchester and Donald Girouard of Amherst; their mother, Patricia Girouard; his two granddaughters, Amanda and Cassie Girouard; his five great-grandchildren; as well as his sister Debbie Bell of Loudon.

Relatives and friends are invited to Clarence’s graveside service and presentation of military honors on THURSDAY, August 5th at 1:30 PM in the New Hampshire State Veteran Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH.
