It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Clarisse (Cote) Arnold, our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and friend to all the lives she touched. She left us peacefully on June 25,2021 at the age of 92.
Born in Nashua on February 11, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Alfred W. Cote and Maria (Demers) Cote. Clarisse graduated from Nashua High School, Class of 1947. She resided in Nashua for nearly six decades making a loving home for her family at 20 King Street.
Clarisse was employed at City Hall Nashua and worked in the Public Works Department and later as the Secretary to the late Mayor Dennis Sullivan, retiring after 23 years of dedication to our city.
Clarisse lived a full life as a wonderful mother, homemaker and friend to many. She was an avid reader, loved the beach and traveling. Clarisse traveled throughout the USA, Europe, Canada and the Caribbean with her friends creating endless cherished memories. She was a member of the Nashua Senior Activities Center. Clarisse especially cherished times spent with her family and always held the Christmas Eve get togethers closest to her heart.
Clarisse will be dearly missed by her children; Dennis Arnold, Mike Arnold, Gary Arnold of Nashua, and John Arnold of Peterborough, NH; her five grandchildren, Erin Arnold Rolnick, Alyssa Arnold, Nathan Arnold, Jesse Arnold, and Sean Arnold; three great grandchildren, Riley Rolnick, Greyson Arnold, and Elise Arnold, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to Clarisse’s visitation on WEDNESDAY, June 30th from 3 until 5 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her funeral service will be held in St. Patrick’s Parish, 29 Spring St, Nashua, N.H. at 9am on Thursday, July 1, 2021. Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery, 752 West Hollis Street, Nashua, N.H.
