Corey Michael Butler, aged 32, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. He was the cherished son of Ben Butler Jr. and Dawn Louise (Dionne) Butler.
Born on August 31, 1992, in Lowell, Massachusetts, Corey was educated in the Nashua School System and graduated from Nashua High School in the class of 2010. He found his calling in agriculture, proudly working at Smith Farm in Hudson for the past decade, at which he was always the farms right hand man. Corey was a true outdoorsman who found joy in nature, farming, and fishing. He loved camping with his family, loved riding his motorcycle, collecting unique trinkets and video games. Corey had a huge collection of video games, some which were very rare and he was always adding to his collection. He loved hunting for treasures at flea markets and Goodwill's 'buy by the pound,' always on a fun quest to uncover nostalgic gems from the '90s. Corey was a hot sauce concierge, always looking for the hottest sauces. He loved watching anime in his free time. His love for dogs, especially his huskies, was well-known. You might have seen him skateboarding behind a pack of the family’s huskies, which he did quite often. Corey will be remembered as a wonderful big brother, humble, kind and always selfless. He was always the person who was doing for others without hesitation. Corey took great pride in caring for his grandfather Ray, with whom he shared an undeniably close and special bond. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Above all, Corey treasured the time spent with his family.
In addition to his parents, Ben and Dawn, Corey is survived by his siblings, Cody Butler and Blaize Butler, as well as many foster siblings who loved him dearly. He is also survived by his maternal grandfather, Raymond Dionne of Hudson, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and the Smith Family of Hudson.
Corey was predeceased by his grandparents, Ben Butler Sr., Sandra Butler, and Deborah Dionne.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Corey’s visitation on THURSDAY, September 26th from 10 AM until 11 AM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Corey’s name to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) at https://www.nami.org.
