Daniel M. Fulton, Sr.

Daniel M. Fulton, Sr., 89, of Nashua, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. He was born on September 8, 1935, in Concord, MA to the late Thomas and Helen (Nelson) Fulton.

Daniel was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean War. He was the beloved husband of Elly (Gross) Fulton with whom he shared 67 wonderful years of marriage with.

For 53 years, Dan and Elly dedicated their time to the City of Nashua owning, operating, and working side by side at Danelly’s Subs and Pizza on Allds Street until January of 2018.

In his free time, Daniel enjoyed playing card games, especially cribbage. He was also an avid bowler, and in his younger years was in a league that he traveled all over the country. Daniel enjoyed cooking and trying all kinds of different foods that he made. He was also a member of the Nashua Elks Lodge #720 for 57 years. Daniel was an extremely sociable person, talking and being able to hold a conversation with just about everyone. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family and friends the most.

In addition to his wife Elly, Daniel is survived by his three sons: Daniel M. Fulton Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Nashua, Ronald J. Fulton and his wife Lorri of Warren, NH, and Stephen H. Fulton and his wife Anothi “Mem” of Nashua, 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Willard of Concord, MA as well as many nieces and nephews.

Daniel was predeceased by his brothers Michael, Robert, and Thomas. 

Family and friends are invited to Daniel’s visitation on TUESDAY, December 17th from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Interment will take place privately at the NH Veteran’s cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
