Daniel Edward "Dan" "Big Danny" Hagen

Daniel Edward “Dan” “Big Danny” Hagen, 58, died peacefully on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at St. Joseph Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Dan was born in Brockton, Massachusetts on April 21, 1966 and was the son of the late Paul Edward and Florence Anne (Chisholm) Hagen.

For 39 years, he proudly worked at Massachusetts General Hospital in the Police and Security Department.

In his free time, Dan enjoyed relaxing at home whether it was time outside on his deck or inside watching the Food Network, he especially liked that time with a cold Bud heavy or Bud Light. He loved animals but had a special place in his heart for his two fur babies: his dog, Chibs and his cat Mancha. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family who he loves deeply. Time spent with his granddaughter or his “buddy”, Emmy watching episode after episode of Bluey with her was always “Papa’s” favorite time of day.

Dan is survived by his two sons, Daniel P. Hagen and his fiancé Celeste of Contoocook, NH, and James Hagen and his wife Brittany of Nashua; his granddaughter, Emmanuella Grace; his two siblings, Paul Michael Hagen and his wife Mary of East Bridgewater, MA and Brenna Hagen and her fiancé Josh Granat of Fitchburg, MA. He is also survived by his three nephews, Michael Hagen, Thomas Hagen, and Jospeh Hagen as well as his former spouse, Denise Caunter of Epsom, NH.

Relatives and friends are invited to Dan’s visitation on SATURDAY, December 21st from 1 until 3 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. A prayer service will be held at 2:45 PM in the Funeral Home. Interment will take place at the convenience of his family.
