Darlene Louise Taylor, 54, of Weare, passed away at her home on August 18, 2025.
Born on January 11, 1971, in Waltham, MA, she was the daughter of the late Janet (Boucher) Oszy and stepdaughter of Alan Oszy. Darlene was a 1989 graduate of Waltham High School.
She was the proud owner and operator of Darlene’s Quality Cleaning for over a decade. Darlene’s work ethic, integrity, and dedication to excellence helped her build a successful business from the ground up; something she was deeply proud of.
Darlene was a vibrant soul who found joy in the simple and the spectacular. She loved attending concerts, with Fleetwood Mac holding a special place in her heart—especially the legendary Stevie Nicks, who left her in awe every time. Darlene enjoyed life with a playful spirit, often found playing corn hole, catching double features at the drive-in, or cruising aimlessly on long car rides with the music turned all the way up. Her adventurous heart led her to spontaneous trips to camp in the White Mountains of North Conway and weekend escapes to the shores of Hampton Beach. Whether you knew her as Mom, Gramma, sister, or friend, you knew that Darlene was truly one of a kind—impossible to forget, and deeply loved. But above all else, she treasured every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world.
Darlene is survived by her three children, Brenda Barry and her fiancé Adam Pickard of Weare, NH; Brittany Bower and her husband Doug of Allenstown, NH; and Dylan Barry, also of Weare. She also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren: Rosaleigh, Adaline, Briella, Vincent, and Raelynn.
Darlene is also survived by her siblings, Kenny Taylor and his wife Bianca Combs of Pelham, and Lisa Torres of Manchester, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Robbie Taylor Jr., and her former spouse, Marc Barry.
Relatives and friends are invited to Darlene’s visitation on THURSDAY, August 28th from 4-7 p.m. at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.
