Dennis Lowe Obituary

Dennis Milton Lowe, 81, of Nashua, NH passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

Born in Goffstown, NH, on Monday, May 24, 1943; Dennis was the son of the late Oakley Curtis and Ina Lucy (Bagley) Lowe.

Dennis proudly served his country in The United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, attaining the rank of Sergeant, from May 1967 until he was honorably discharged in April 1970.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Matthew T. Lowe, two brothers, Willard “Buster” & Curtis “Buddy” and two sisters Judith “Judy” Lavoie, and Marion Lavoie.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Dorothy “Dottie” J. (Singleton) Lowe and one sister Norma Lavoie of Nashua, NH as well as many nieces and nephews.

Dennis retired in 1995 after 25 years of employment working in the maintenance department at Verizon, formerly New England Telephone Company.

Dennis’ greatest joy in life was his family. He was a devoted husband and father, whose love for his family knew no bounds. He found great pride and peace while tending to his home and yard. The greatest lessons he taught were through the quiet, everyday acts of kindness and love.

He had a zest for life and loved watching New England sports, especially the Boston Red Sox, with his wife & son. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling and playing golf.
