Donald P. Bazin

Donald P. Bazin, of Lecanto, Florida, formerly of Londonderry, NH passed away peacefully at his home on October 4, 2025. Born on December 15, 1937, Don was the son of the late Josephine and Romeo Bazin.

Don was a 1956 graduate of Nashua High School, NH. He served proudly in the United States Marine Corp for 2 tours of duty and returned to NH to serve as a NH State Police Officer retiring after 25 years of service.  Don continued his career in security for the Public Service of New Hampshire until he retired with his wife Aline to Lecanto, Florida in 2000.

Retiring to Florida, Don pursued his passion for golf while working and playing at Skyview Golf Club in Citrus Hill Florida. Over the next 25 years Don made many cherished friendships at the club with coworkers and fellow golfers. Don was always eager to help anyone at any time and was well liked by many as shown in the compassion and care he received from his closest friends in his last days.

Don is survived by his wife of 66 years, Aline (Levesque); his brother in laws: Dennis Levesque and Ernest Mercier: his sister-in-law, Marge (Connolly) Bazin: his niece Karen and Fred Vegliante of Merrimack, NH; nephew Michael and Kay Bazin of Monroe Township, NJ and Venice, FL.; Brenda Patten, Robert Bazin, Kathy Fry, and Patrick Bazin.

Don was predeceased by his son, Jimmy Bazin in 1977 and sister, Pauline Mercier and brother, Robert Bazin.

Family and friends are invited to Donald’s Funeral Mass which will be held at St Joseph the Worker Parish in Nashua, NH on October 24, 2025, at 10am. Kindly meet at church. Interment and presentation of military honors will follow at Saint Louis de Gonzague Cemetery
