Doris Labrie Obituary

Doris Marie Labrie, 93, died peacefully on August 12, 2021, in Whitsett, North Carolina surrounded by her loving daughters. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur C. Labrie who predeceased her in June of 2001.

Doris was born in Nashua, NH on July 4, 1928, and was the daughter of the late Yvonne (Nadeau) and Leo Maynard. She was predeceased by her brother Donald Maynard of Fremont, CA in July 2021.She received her education in the Nashua School System. She then furthered her education and graduated from St. Joseph Hospital Nursing School and UNH.

Her easy-going nature and great sense of humor carried her far as a registered nurse for 40 years. While experiencing many different nursing roles in her career, her most challenging was working as an occupational nurse at the Nuclear Power Plant in Seabrook, NH.

Doris is survived by her four children, son Thomas Labrie and Sue of Seattle, Washington, son Richard Labrie and Debbie of Tyler, Texas, daughter Patricia Robinson and Ray of Littleton, North Carolina, and daughter Nancy Parker and Russ of Whitsett; North Carolina as well as her 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  

Relatives and friends are invited to Doris’ Graveside Service on FRIDAY, September 3rd at 11 AM in St. Louis Cemetery, 752 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Arrangements entrusted to Rochette Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.
