Dorothy "Dot" Levesque Obituary

Dorothy Ann “Dot” Levesque, 77, of Nashua, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025, at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. Dorothy was born on October 31, 1947, in Stoneham, MA to the late Marcel and Rose (McGuirl) Orleans.

Growing up, Dorothy received her education in the Nashua School District graduating with the Nashua High class of 1965. A devoted wife, Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerard Levesque, who passed away on February 18, 2018. Together, they shared a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

For over 20 years, Dot was employed as a human resource specialist for the Nashua School District, before retiring in 2017. Most recently, she worked as the office manager for Gate City Sports Medicine in Nashua.

Dorothy’s heart was always with her family. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she took pride in supporting everything they did, whether cheering them on at sporting events or celebrating their accomplishments. Her love for her own children and the joy she found watching their sporting events naturally transitioned into being her grandkid’s biggest fan.

She also had a deep passion for the simple pleasures in life. Dorothy loved spending time camping in Weare, NH, where she found peace and happiness in nature. She was an avid fan of crime television shows, the Food Network, and Hallmark Christmas movies, always enjoying the comfort they brought. Her home was often filled with beautiful flowers, reflecting her appreciation for their beauty and serenity. Dorothy’s warmth, devotion to her family, and love for life’s small joys will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Dorothy is survived by her three children Leanne Bernard and her husband Freddy of Leominster, Danielle Levesque of Nashua, and Keith Levesque and his wife Courtney of Nashua; her three grandchildren Joseph Levesque and his significant other Megan Campagnone, Abigail McDowell, and Declan Levesque; her two siblings Dave Orleans and his wife Charlotte of Merrimack, and Helen Nichols and her husband James of Hudson; her sisters-in-law Karen Orleans of Hopkinton, NH and Lena Orleans of Hanover, MA; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Gerard, Dot was predeceased by her siblings Edward Orleans, Richard Orleans and his wife Mary, Marcel “Chuck” Orleans, and Robert Orleans and his wife Susan.
