Earl Socha Obituary

NASHUA- Earl P. Socha, 78, died peacefully at his home following a long illness on Wednesday, September 9, 2020.

Earl was born on February 26, 1942 in Lowell, Massachusetts and was the son of the late Marygan A. and Regina (Richards) Socha.

Prior to his retirement, Earl owned and operated Bodyworks Autobody Shop in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.

In his free time he truly enjoyed playing poker, he was very talented and won many poker tournaments, NASCAR, and his dogs. He also liked to travel which he did often to many various destinations.

He is survived by his three children, Brenda Morin and her husband Lee of Palm Coast, FL, Christopher Socha and his wife Laurie of Salisbury, MA, and Eric Socha and his wife Jeanine of Milford, NH; his four grandchildren, Stephen, Sarah, Sidney, and Bailey; and his five great-grandchildren, Emma, Zackery, David, Sandy, and Gabriella. Earl was also survived by his two sisters, Shirley Belmore of Chelmsford and Lorraine Picciotti of Fishkill, NY; his best friend, Chuck Rank and his wife Rae Lee and several nieces and nephews.

Earl was predeceased by his sister Regina Wojcik.

At the request of Earl’s family, all services were held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Earl’s name to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
