Edna C. Alonis

Edna C. Alonis, 68, died peacefully at her home on Monday, March 4, 2024. She is the beloved wife of Jay J. Alonis with whom she shared 49 years of marriage.

Edna was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on June 5, 1955 and was the daughter of the late Quinton and Shirley (Tilly) Choate. She received her undergraduate degree and master’s degree in Contracting from Western New England Community College. Edna worked for the Department of Defense as a Government Contracting Officer. 

In addition to her husband Jay, Edna is survived by her two sons, Jon Alonis and Kevin Alonis and his wife Kate; two grandchildren, Alexander (Alex) and Ambrosia; and her five siblings, Penny Moss, Gary Choate, Bobby Choate, Tammie Pepper, and Angie Driggers.

Arrangements for Edna have been entrusted to the care of ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 KINSLEY STREET, NASHUA.
