Edna T. (Pouliot) Paquin, 94, of Nashua, NH passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born in Manchester on February 20, 1928, to the late Edouard and Laura (Drapeau) Pouliot. Edna was raised in Manchester along with her seven brothers and sisters where they worked in their parent’s restaurant “Eddie’s Lunch” from the time they were young. When she was older, Edna also worked at the Manchester Country Club.
On July 4, 1947, Edna married Maurice A. Paquin in Manchester and shared 47 years together before his passing on November 19, 1992. Together they raised 5 children, Claudette (Arthur) Brown, Joanne (Kim) Johnson, Michael and his wife Denise, Coni, Marc and his wife Sheryl.
Edna came from a very musical family and loved to play the piano. Music was a big part of her life which she passed on to her children and grandchildren.
Edna loved candlepin bowling and bingo. She was a member of the Nashua Country Club for many years where she enjoyed golf and cribbage. She was also a fan of the Boston sports teams.
Survivors include 4 children, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren. Edna is also survived by a brother, Edouard (Connie) Pouliot.
Edna was predeceased by her husband, her daughter Claudette Brown who passed away on February 24, 2021 and her brothers, Eugene, Wilfred, Emile and Alfred Pouliot and sisters, Alice Bergeron and Lorraine O’Donnell.
Relatives and friends are invited to Edna’s visiting hours on FRIDAY, June 3rd, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on SATURDAY, June 4th at 10:00 am in Immaculate Conception Church, 216 East Dunstable Road in Nashua. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashua.
