Erin McCarthy

Erin K. McCarthy died unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

Erin was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on January 9, 1978. Erin was a bright, and beautiful person with a great sense of humor. She loved the outdoors, especially camping with family and friends along the Saco river in Maine. She was a voracious reader and never met a puzzle that was too challenging.

Erin was predeceased by her husband Jeremy Dower and her father Stephen McCarthy. In addition to her parents Donna and David O'Connor, Erin is survived by her two children, Maxine Dower and Maggie Dower; her five sisters, Jennifer Richtarcsik and her husband Peter, Kathleen McCarthy, Al O’Connor and their partner Shan Wood, Elizabeth O’Connor, Megan O’Connor; her nieces Vienna O'Connor and Violet O'Connor, nephew Ryan McCarthy as well as her grandmother Eileen O’Connor and many more beloved family and friends.
