Ethnea (Reedy) Daniels

Ethnea (Reedy) Daniels, 86, died peacefully on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Langdon Place in Nashua. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward S. Daniels, Jr. with whom she shared 23 years of marriage prior to his passing in November of 1986.

Ethnea was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 25, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Martin John and Margaret Rose (Clancy) Reedy. She attended Misericordia University graduating with a degree as a registered nurse.

For over 20 years, she practiced nursing at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua in the maternal child health department caring for newborns. In her free time, Ethnea enjoyed reading mysteries and crafting, from making cars to tole painting.

Ethnea is survived by her daughter Nicole (Daniels) Wakelin and her husband William (Russ); her grandchildren, Rose and Katherine (Kit) Wakelin as well as her brother John Reedy. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Mary Nath, Gerald Reedy, and Patricia Ferrara.

Relatives and friends are invited to Ethnea’s graveside service on THURSDAY, May 16th  at 10 AM in Meadow View Cemetery, Amherst, NH.
