Eugene L. Mercier, 90, of Nashua, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Greenbriar Nursing Home.
Eugene was born In Flint, MI on December 10, 1928, a son of the late Phillip and Mildred (Kerouac) Mercier.
Eugene proudly served his country in the United States Army. Eugene loved history, especially the Civil War and Korean War. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus council #122.
Eugene had been employed as an accountant for the Nashua Foundry for over 30 years. He was predeceased by a sister, Katherine Stiles and four brothers, Albert Mercier, Francis Mercier, Norbert “John” Mercier and Michael Mercier.
Eugene is survived by three brothers; Leonard Mercier and his wife Carollee of Nashua, Rollain Mercier of Berwick, ME and Lauren Mercier of Auburndale, FL, a sister-in-law; Barbara Mercier of Merrimack as well as several nieces, nephew and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 17th from 6 to 8 PM in the ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 KINSLEY ST., NASHUA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 18th in St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring St., Nashua at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow in Gibson Cemetery, Pelham, NH.
