Florence Denis Obituary
NASHUA- Florence A. Denis, 96, a lifelong resident of Nashua, died peacefully Friday, June 5, 2020, at St. Joseph Hospital.
Florence was born in Nashua on May 13, 1924, and was the daughter of the late Emile and Anna (Turcotte) Denis.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed for Nashua Mills as well as Nashua Corporation.
In her free time she truly enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Canada and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sister Claire Stuart of Hollis, NH as well as her sister-in-law, Claudette Denis of Hudson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Florence was predeceased by her brothers, Richard Denis, Rene Denis, Lucien LaFrance, and Conrad LaFrance as well as her sisters, Rose Dussault and Rachel Landry.
Due to current public health and safety concerns, funeral services for Florence will be limited to immediate family members and held privately. Interment will take place in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Florence’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
