Florence Ruth Narayana Jaya

Florence Ruth Narayana Jaya, died peacefully on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Bharath Raju Tsapa who predeceased her on Feb 5,2009 after 35 years of marriage.

Florence was born in Eluru, Andhrapradesh, India, on January 1, 1951, and was the daughter of the late Commissioner Samuel and Sundaramma (Dasari) Narayana Jaya. She received her Master’s Degree in economics from Andhra University.

For many years she worked as a professor of Economics and most recently was retired as the Principal of the Salvation Army William Booth College.

In her free time she enjoyed cooking and she was an avid reader. She loved to read the Bible as well as spiritual articles.

She is survived by her three daughters, Mary Tsapa and her husband David Nakka, Subhasini Tsapa and her husband Samuel Jonathan, and Suhasini Tsapa and her husband Asher Kothapalli; her grandchildren, Noel, Joel, Adiel, Jocelyn, Justin, Ashley. She is also survived by her siblings, Karunkara Rao,Vivekavathy, Padmavathy Bodapati, Jaya Prakash, Elizabeth Margaret, and ; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to Florence’s visitation on THURSDAY, March 30th from 5 until 8 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Service will be held on FRIDAY, March 31st at 10:00 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, 130 Spitbrook Road, Nashua. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Interment to follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
